Jupiter Florida

Jupiter is located in the northern part of Palm Beach County. We have grown from a quiet town of about 10,000 in 1981 to approxamately 50,000 today. Jupiter is well known for its beauty and beaches which stretch all the way from the Jupiter Inlet to Juno Beach. All of our beaches are public, with free parking. Some areas of our beaches are pet friendly also. It is often referred to as a "beach town" and has become a popular vacation spot. Many celebrities own homes in Jupiter, Florida. We have an abundance of parks and recreational areas, in fact the most in Palm Beach County per square mile.

Jupiter enjoys a great location close to West Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale and Miami to the South within a 90 minute drive. Palm Beach International Airport is about a half hour away, using the new flyover from I-95.The largest cities and towns to our North are Stuart and Port St. Lucie. Daytona and Orlando are both about 3 hours away via I-95 and the turnpike, respectively.

Jupiter has a wide age range of residents, including families, singles and retirement age folks who all enjoy the outstanding weather we have year round. The Town of Jupiter offers many activities for the young and the mature alike in the civic center, built just a few years ago. Great schools, a state of the art library and colleges of higher education make our area very desirable to those in learning mode! Recreation in Jupiter

There are many things to do here, with the Atlantic Ocean on our border, water sports and fishing is number 1. The Loxahatchee River (from the Hobe Indian’s word for River of Turtles) is also a popular weekend destination for boaters and fisherman. With the Gulf Stream practically kissing our shores, excellent fishing in 160 feet of blue water is minutes from the Jupiter Inlet. Our reefs so close to shore make for fantastic diving or fishing very convenient. Of course, if you are a golfer you will have the choice of several public courses within minutes, or private membership clubs are numerous as well.
